Dr Estie Meyer qualified as an ENT surgeon in 2009. She is associated with Red Cross Children’s and Groote Schuur hospitals. Her main focus is ear surgery which includes minimal invasive endoscopic surgery (i.e. surgery through the ear canal instead of the traditional open approach). This method is quicker with less associated pain and morbidity. Dr Meyer was one of the first surgeons to use this methodology in South Africa.
