Prof John Lazarus completed his urological training at the University of Cape Town. Following qualification he was senior lecturer in stone disease / endourology at Groote Schuur Hospital and Paediatric Urology at Red Cross Children’s Hospital. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2012 and was appointed Head: Division of Urology in 2013. He recently completed a mini-fellowship in uro-oncology at St George’s University Hospital, London.
